About
David C. Bell graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Geography from Park University. A year later, he abandoned his career path in Environmental Regulations to strike out on his own. Working blue collar jobs for many years following, he continued to write on the side for his newsletter, 'Tables of the Heart'. After the birth of their daughter, his wife finally convinced him to pick up creative writing again in 2024.
David loves writing stories of redemption, loss, and human connection. Many of the themes in his books derive from his own personal experiences, or from those he's witnessed in others. He also draws inspiration from fantasy and mystery genres, such as H.P. Lovecraft, The OA, M. Night Shyamalan, and Mike Flanagan. His favorite authors are Tolkien, John Muir, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. But his greatest inspiration comes from the source of all true and great mysteries, the Ancient of Days, the Great Mystery Himself.
